Thanks to the traceability system, it is possible to guarantee the correct continuation of the supply chain: Agri-food, Industrial, Technological and Logistics.

The traceability system allows the identification of all components involved in the production process, from the origin to the subsequent processing and marketing phases, which guarantee product validity, and thus protect its intermediate and final safety. By printing barcodes or QR-Codes directly on our products, without adding more labels, it is possible to combine unique articles with unique codes that refer to technical or in-depth information that is directly related to packaging or attributable to the product contained therein.

Some examples of information and contents that can be combined with the traceability system include:

• origin of raw materials that make up products;
• identification of subjects contributing to the manufacture of products;
• production methods;
• processing methods;
• transport methods adopted.

What technologies for traceability systems?

Currently, traceability systems to be applied to polyethylene products are of 4 types: Barcode, QRcode, Numeric Code and TAG-RFid.
