PIERCING AND MICROPIERCING

The micro-piercing process to which polyethylene film is submitted, is an accessory processing that can be carried out on film in reels. Indeed, through a special machine, the film is unrolled and passed through a sophisticated system of tiny needles for drilling. The procedure takes place under strict monitoring that is deemed necessary to prevent reel damage, and consists in controlling drilling speed.
